Jessica and Chase inquired about wedding photography and I asked if they would like a complimentary engagement session. They replied “Yes!” and decided on a fall evening at their ranch outside of town for their western style photos. Adding one of their favorite horses to the photos gave the session a more cowboy romance theme which complimented them so well. On the way to meet them on their family property I took not one wrong turn, but three… hahaha. Needless to say I arrived a few minutes late, which is something I try to avoid at all costs, but alas it is what it is. I pulled up to their ranch in a cloud of dust with just enough time to have the session before the light started leaving the western sky.
I took out my camera and we began shooting them with one of their yearling foals. Everything went super well and we captured some awesome photos just as the light was fading out. In talking with Jessica and Chase through the evening, I asked them a little about their story how it all started. They met not too long ago here in Delta Junction, taking notice of each other they started going out and shortly thereafter, Chase popped the question and put a ring on her finger, which brought us to this point. It was an fall evening well spent and photos well captured.
