Snowy Engagement Session

This Engagement Session was so relaxed and fun. It was great to just chat with Max and Calla and get to spend more time with them. They are such a cool couple and easy to be with! We started off taking a few photos in the driveway before heading to the nearby bridge. I was hoping to catch the mountains in the background, but the light snowfall picked up its pace into a chilly blasting, hiding the landscape. The snow at the same time created another wintry dimension for the portraits so the weather wasn’t all frustrating. I mean, what do you expect…it’s Alaska, the weather is weird sometimes.

I really enjoyed taking these photos and I hope you enjoy the images as well. Calla and Max are go-getters, but have an appreciation for living in the present, instead of always rushing toward the next big thing. I’m pretty excited to be a part of their big day this summer.
